While plastic surgery is not uncommon, Jessica Alves, formerly Rodrigo Alves, took it to an extreme by transforming herself into a human Barbie doll. Struggling with body image, she embraced her identity as a transgender woman, stating, “I’m known as Ken but inside I’ve always felt like Barbie.”

Born on July 30, 1983, in São Paulo, Brazil, Jessica grew up playing with dolls and dressing femininely. After moving to London and undergoing her first surgery in 2004, she became addicted to altering her appearance, eventually undergoing over 100 procedures, including nose jobs, liposuction, and breast augmentation.

In 2016, she faced a dangerous infection that nearly collapsed her nose but continued her pursuit of an ideal body. In 2020, she publicly transitioned and adopted the name Jessica, affirming, “I finally feel like the real me.”

Now, at 41, she recently underwent her fifth facelift, addressing loose skin after dissolving previous fillers. Despite the challenges, Jessica shares her journey on Instagram, emphasizing that her happiness and comfort are what matter most.
