I was in a public restroom and had just sat down when I heard a voice from the adjacent cubicle “Hi! “How are you?” Now, I’m not the sort to strike up a conversation in the restroom. I’m not sure what came into me, but I answered, feeling ashamed. “Doin’ just fine!” And the other person says:

“So what are you up to?” What type of question is that? At this point, I think this is too strange, so I say, “Uhhh, I’m like you, just sitting here.” So now I’m simply trying to get out as soon as possible, when I hear another question,

“I am longing to see you; can I come over? We can just sit around and relax.” Okay, this question is much too odd and unsettling for me. I assumed I’d gracefully finish the conversation and take the bolt. I respond, “No…” “I am a little busy right now!!” Then I hear someone remark, “Listen, I’ll have to call you back,…” “There’s an idiot in the other stall who keeps answering all my questions!!”
