A week ago, an upset woman rushed into my taxi and yelled, “Get me home fast, my husband is cheating!”. When we arrived, she was shaking and begged me to come up for help. I reluctantly agree. When we walked inside, her expression transformed — she turned to me and began to laugh, despite the fact that she had been crying just seconds before.

Then she disappeared. I was startled to see three massive, muscular men with intimidating attitudes standing in front of me. One demanded my wallet, and another snatched my car keys. Terrified and understanding that I couldn’t fight back alone, I remained mute and performed what they ordered. They seized my car and money before leaving.

Later, I reported to the police. They researched the address and discovered that the unit was an Airbnb rented under false names, making it impossible to track. That day, I was robbed, but I learnt an important lesson: never trust anyone blindly, even a seemingly helpless woman in tears.
