My cat suddenly began caring over my mother, continuously licking her face. Later, as my mother sat down on the sofa, the cat climbed into her lap, which is strange because the cat only ever sits in my father’s lap.

She never sits in someone else’s lap. We were really perplexed; the cat was simply paying attention to my mother for some reason. Then, out of nowhere, my mother’s heart starts pumping at more than 200 bpm.
She has frequent episodes of tachycardia that require hospitalization to stop. When she returned home, the cat had calmed down, and we all understood he had seen it coming! She had noticed that something was amiss with my mother and had spent the entire day paying special care to her as a result. We still have no idea how.
