Do not wipe your TV with tissue paper or plain water.

Cleaning the TV screen is essential for maintaining sharp and bright pictures, which not only enhances the viewing experience but also protects the eyes. However, cleaning the TV screen properly is critical to maintaining the device’s visual quality and durability. Why shouldn’t you use tissue paper to clean your television screen?
Many individuals continue to use tissue paper to clean TV screens because of convenience, ignorant that it is dangerous.

According to electronics experts, contemporary TV screens, notably LED, OLED, and LCD TVs, are significantly more complex and sensitive than previous generations. To enhance the viewing experience, the screen’s glass is frequently coated with an anti-reflective and anti-scratch layer. However, if this covering is not properly maintained and cleaned, it becomes incredibly thin and fragile.

If you use tissue paper to clean your TV screen, you risk damaging the coating. Although tissue paper is smooth, it is not flexible enough and may leave small scratches on the screen’s surface. You may not notice the scratches at first, but the screen will gradually get dull or scratched, decreasing visual quality. Furthermore, after wiping with tissue paper, small particles can remain on the screen, making it appear dirtier than before.

The proper method of cleaning the television screen 1. Turn off the television and use a special cleaning cloth to gently wipe the dust from the television screen’s surface in one direction. Generally, you can use felt napkins, felt cloths, microfiber cloths, and soft, lint-free cotton napkins. 2. Spray a smart TV-specific cleaning solution onto a special cleaning cloth and gently wash the screen. Today’s smart TVs are frequently thin, so avoid squeezing the display screen too hard.

3. If the cleaning solution does not work, mix 3% vinegar with water in a 1:1 ratio. The vinegar solution effectively removes fingerprints and household contaminants. 4. After wiping, simply let the TV screen to dry naturally; it does not need to be wiped every day.
