We planned a trip to Disneyland to celebrate our daughter’s tenth birthday. We also invited her best friend. However, my husband refused to take my 12-year-old daughter. She cried, but he said, “If her father is unable to pay, I will not! “I am not a charity!”
So we left without her. Without telling him or expressing my disappointment, I decided to put an end to this. I smiled during the journey so as not to ruin our daughter’s birthday.

However, on the final night of our five-day journey, I placed a document on our bed and departed the hotel room. When my husband discovered that I had filed for divorce in secret, he began to beg. His disregard of my daughter was more than I could bear. He claims I overreacted and warns me not to ruin our “perfect” marriage over this.
Still, I can’t forgive him for mistreating my kid simply because she isn’t his flesh and blood. And this will show him what it is like to be abandoned and separated from his family. Aside from that, he is a decent husband who genuinely cares about our daughter.
