Ethan Beckton, an 18-year-old landscaper from Lisarow, NSW, delivered a powerful blind audition on The Voice Australia with his heartfelt cover of Labrinth’s “Jealous.” Despite having no formal training, his emotional performance earned a rare four-chair turn from the coaches.

Described as having a voice “smooth as glass,” Ethan impressed all four judges—Jason Derulo, Rita Ora, Guy Sebastian, and Jessica Mauboy. Derulo called the performance “perfect” and later became Ethan’s coach.

Ethan made it all the way to the grand final, performing songs by Ed Sheeran and Lewis Capaldi. His rendition of “Jealous” is now available on streaming platforms, marking the beginning of what promises to be a remarkable music career.
