The dog had been motionless for three days, and when I discovered the reason, I was shocked

The dog had not moved for three days, and I was surprised when I discovered why. Every morning on my way to work, I went by a typical home with a tiny dog in the yard. This dog was always pleasant, and I had never noticed any signs of violence in it. However, one day, when I passed by this residence, I spotted the dog sitting immobile under a tree. It was strange because it typically ran gleefully about the garden whenever I passed.

I initially assumed it was just resting and paid no attention. However, the scene repeated itself in the following days. It remained stationary for three days straight. It was growing increasingly bizarre how energetic the dog seemed. Worried, I decided to see if everything was fine. I immediately shouted to see if anyone was home. When no one responded, I went over the fence and approached the dog. When it gazed at me, I noticed an endless sadness in its eyes. That’s when I realized something was very wrong.

My discovery left me absolutely shaken. As I approached the dog, I realized what was wrong. A leash was linked to its collar, although that wasn’t the worst thing. The knot was extremely tight and thoroughly entrenched in its flesh. I could detect inflammation and redness on its neck. It was remained motionless, weary, and definitely in pain. Its eyes, which were normally full of life and delight, were suddenly filled with anguish.

I instantly took the puppy into my arms and rushed it to the veterinarian. After inspecting its neck, the veterinarian determined that it had a significant inflammation. The redness went rapidly after receiving the recommended medication. After a few days of care, the dog regained its strength and smile. Since the owners of this residence had not returned in all this time, I decided to keep the dog. I was relieved to see this little creature rediscover its zest for life, and I knew it would never be abandoned to its tragic fate again.
