Puzzles not only give you some leisure time but also help you develop better skills in solving daily issues. In fact, science says that the skills we actually use to work on daily problems are the same we use to find the odd one out in an image.
1. Find the one that doesn’t belong here!
The answer: Its a Tomato, because it is the only fruit in the group. To a botanist, a fruit is an entity that develops from the fertilized ovary of a flower.
This means that tomatoes, squash, pumpkins, cucumbers, peppers, eggplants, corn kernels, and bean and pea pods are all fruits; so are apples, pears, peaches, apricots, melons and mangos.
2. Find the animal that doesn’t belong here.
Answer: The cow is the only farm animal in the group.
One of these things is not like the others. One of these things doesn’t belong. Determining which one of a series of shapes is different than the others is a commonly-used reasoning test. In simple problems,
like when there are five circles and a square, the answer is obvious. As more shapes are added, and other variables like color become relevant too, the odd one out can only be identified by considering several pieces of information at the same time.
