When we look at an image, something quickly draws our attention since it is not in its proper place. Sometimes we have a feeling that something is wrong, but we don’t know what it is, so we have to check more attentively.

Then we uncover features we hadn’t seen before and discover more and more contradictions. Okay, that doesn’t normally happen in real life, but it does happen in our selection of photographs with weird, difficult-to-detect flaws.
