Everyone knows a normal human being has only a pair of hands and legs, 10 fingers, and 10 toes. What if an extra one appears?… An ancient picture dating back to 1900 has suddenly emerged online depicting 15 women posing in their work uniforms at the linen mill in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
At first sight, the image is unremarkable; it’s just a grainy old black and white photograph of a bunch of ladies in their baggy, unshapely uniforms striking a regimental position with their arms crossed.
Some appeared pleased, some stern, and the rest were indistinguishable. Nothing can be gleaned from the sea of faces. If you look closely, you will realize that there is something wrong with this image. Can you find it?
It is also evident that her fingers appear to bend in on her shoulder, almost in an intimate gesture to the unknowing girl in the third row on the far right. Photoshop was not yet invented, and the girl behind her has her arms crossed, and the appearance of an extra hand has everyone’s hair standing on end.
