She was 11 years old at the time, and her child was born during her own wedding. We’re talking about Kordeza Zhelyazkova of Bulgaria, who has become one of the world’s youngest mothers. Kordeza turned 11 years old in 2009. Near her school, she encountered a 19-year-old young man.

They started dating, and she quickly became pregnant. However, the girl did not learn about her predicament right away… The teenager thought she gained weight because of a newly awakened appetite, which caused her to “eat for two.”

Dida, Kordeza’s grandmother, was the first to notice something was wrong with her stomach. Everything became clear after questioning and testing, and the girl’s relatives rushed to begin planning the wedding with the father of the unborn kid.

They wanted to make it before birth. And they managed to. Or, maybe it will be more correct to say that they almost did…The start of the three-day wedding ceremony was scheduled for October 22.

The celebration was held in the best Gypsy traditions, but already on the second day of the festivities, Kordeza felt unwell. She was taken to the hospital, where baby Violeta was born a couple of hours later.
