Parents understand how difficult it can be to get everyone in the family up and moving in the morning. There’s breakfast to make, hair to do, lunches to pack, and hugs to offer. Skyler and Jamie Scott have a total of seven children. They have two older sons and five young children (three girls and two more boys).

Needless to say, the Scotts require a little more planning and routine to get their family of nine up and running every morning. This video demonstrates how much effort it takes merely to get out of bed in the morning. The process starts with five bottles of vitamin D milk. The older lads then assist in rousing the three girl toddlers. As the girls unzip their fleece sleepers, hugs and grins abound!

Jamie and her sons take her daughter’s bottles and go upstairs to rouse the boys awake. Every morning, the mother of seven explains, is like Christmas morning. The unique quality of having seven beautiful children never fades. Skyler later drives his oldest son to middle school.

Despite the fact that puberty can be a difficult period, the father and son discussed how wonderful it is to have five toddlers in the house who are learning so much. They also discussed having a nine-year-old boy and how they need to cherish the fact that he is still a “child” because he will be in middle school soon.

The video wraps up with Jamie and his friend visiting Costco at Christmas. Jamie talks about all of the holiday goodies and how much he enjoys going to Costco. It’s lovely to see this family’s love for each other and how much fun they have.
