Ruth Linnea became the oldest skydiver at the age of 103, according to the Guinness Book of Records. When she was 90, she began studying sports such as parachuting and skydiving because she was fascinated by the idea of flying!

Then she learned about Catherine Hodges, a woman from the United States who set the previous world record by parachuting out of an airplane at the age of 102. Ruth’s competitive nature naturally awoke, and she felt compelled to defeat her opponent, despite the fact that she was 103 at the time…

Despite the fact that she moved with the assistance of a walker, our heroine began her day in Motala (Sweden) by donning protective gear. Ruth was floating in the air a few moments later, wearing an attractive blue-and-white parachute.

She was able to land on the ground without incident, and a few seconds after that was surrounded by loved ones, including friends and relatives. She smiled at the camera, carrying a plaque in honor of her world record, and added that everything went according to plan and that she intends to celebrate this event with a cake when she returns to her home.
