This man who lost his legs a long time ago and can only move around in a wheelchair or on prosthetics was able to turn an abandoned store into a beautiful and cozy home. All his life he dreamed of living in the village, but he did not have housing there. In 2011, the universe gave him a surprise: he had the opportunity to buy an old building in the village which used to be a store. From the very beginning, he planned a small production there!

The fact is that the man had a small and very unusual business. He was engaged in the aromatization of the premises. That is, he produced equipment and smells, with the help of which offices smelled of flowers, wood, and shops – the smell of freshly baked bread. But the business did not go. And he came up with the idea to equip this room into a residential building.

This decision was made quickly because he had no place to live at the time, according to the man. His friends and family were skeptical, but he was convinced he could succeed. No one had time for anything else for two long years. As the man admits, he had doubts at first, but things worked out in the end. This was a lucky purchase for the man.

For a grand total of ten grand, he acquired an eighty-five square meter building. In order to complete the most difficult and time-consuming tasks, the man sought the assistance of professional contractors. While he was able to get by on his own, he admits that being confined to a wheelchair made certain tasks more difficult. He was pressed for time because his son wouldn’t be seven years old until the project was completed.

It was his preference that the child attend a nearby school. The renovation of his home is still ongoing at this point. In the future, the family intends to expand their residence. There is a desire to add a terrace to the residence. To the man’s delight, he’ll be doing all the work and won’t have to sit around doing anything.
