Not all people can brag about being a sharp observer. In fact, a large group of people would likely not even notice a white elephant sitting in the room if they had their full attention on their favorite television show. That strawberry is pretending to be a watermelon, can you find it?

When we visualize anything, our brain sends messages to our eyes that tell us what we are seeing. Close your eyes for a bit, then open them again and take another look at what you really see in front of you.

Our mind is a true supercomputer. It can, however, play tricks on us at times. Certain details can go unnoticed if we are not paying attention. So, the best thing to do is to keep the brain active and “connected” as much as possible. There are visual challenges that test our perception and help us practice this skill. We avoid being caught off guard this way, and we are aware of everything that happens around us.
