Mother Posts Hilarious BEFORE AND AFTER Pictures Of Her Daughter’s First Day Of School

A mother has shared hilarious before and after photos of her daughter’s first day of school, and the results are leaving everyone in stitches. Stacey McCullagh, 40, shared how happy but emotional she was when she waved her four-year-old daughter, Lydia, off on her first day at St. Mark’s Primary School on Wednesday. But the mom was left laughing out loud when she came home that afternoon and found that her daughter collapsed in front of the door after what seemed to be an exhausting day!

Little Lyla can be seen in the adorable photos wearing her neat uniform and having her hair properly styled by her mom before going to school. However, the ‘after’ photo shows the young girl looking disheveled, with her head on her sister’s lap and her red bag tossed to the side. “I had mixed feelings because Lyla is my youngest and this is the last time I’ll get to do the first day of primary school,” Stacey told the Daily Record. “However, I was excited for her to go in because she hadn’t stopped talking about it all summer,” the mother continued.

“She kept saying that she didn’t want to go to nursery any longer, that she was ready for school.” I believe it would have been different for me if she had been upset.” Stacey also stated that her daughter was complaining about being so tired,’ and when she managed to wake her up to take her into the house, the exhausted student slept for nearly two hours on the couch.

Despite how exhausting Lyla’s first day was, she managed to get up for school the next day. However, while playing on the playground, she fell and skinned her knee. When she got home, she asked her mother if she could stay at home because her knee was hurting. “I told her she couldn’t, but we did apply plasters and bandages to her knee to make her feel better.” “The whole thing has made us laugh,” Stacey added.
