A touching Letter To The man Who was in my house and robbed me

Dogs are amazing animals that are loyal and loving members of any family. When it comes time to say goodbye to our furry friends, it is absolutely heartbreaking. We wish our dogs could live forever, but when they do, all we have are fond memories and pictures. When a thief broke into someone’s home and stole a memory card containing photos of their dog’s last day alive, the anonymous pet owner was heartbroken.

In an attempt to recover the photos, the owner posted a letter asking the thief to return the memory card anonymously. The note, which was taped to a lamppost in Toronto, Canada, even says that whoever stole the dog’s belongings can keep them – they just want the important memories of their dog back.

“To the man who was in my house and robbed me,” the note begins. Keep the money, as well as my DSLR and whatever else you took. But, please, if you have the camera’s memory card, it contains photos of my dog’s last day alive. Those photos are irreplaceable. Please place it on the porch or in the mail slot. Alternatively, you could mail it. Please. She passed away just a few days ago.

I can’t afford to lose those photos as well.” If this doesn’t make you cry, you might have a serious problem because it’s absolutely heartbreaking! Naturally, the internet was overcome with sympathy for the letter’s author, and as a result, the note has been spreading like wildfire as people share it in the hopes of appealing to the robber.

One Facebook user, Saoirse Morgan, captioned the photo, “Photo taken at Bloor and Lansdowne.” This is just heartbreaking. “I hope this individual does the right thing.” Saoirse’s post alone has received over 27,000 shares, with many people leaving supportive comments – and the number is growing. Losing a pet is one of the most difficult things in life, and losing your only photographs of them is the icing on the cake.

We can only hope and pray that the criminal responsible sees this on social media and takes action. So, thief, if you’re reading this, please return the memory card because I’m pretty sure you’re going to get a lot of bad karma if you don’t.
