On TikTok, a kindergartener’s humorous meal review from his first day of school went viral. Ricki Weisberg, a mother from Pennsylvania, tweeted a video of her son, Abe Ndege, reviewing the sandwich she cooked for lunch. The film was just 11 seconds long, yet it was seen 13 million times in the week after its release. Abe gets off the school bus in the video, and her mother exclaims, “Hey, you did it!” Unfortunately,
The youngster is more concerned with giving his mother an honest but harsh meal assessment. “By the way, terrible sandwich,” Abe remarks. His mother praises him for informing her, but it seems that it is insufficient for the youngster. He adds, “very dreadful,” to make sure his mother understands how bad it was. People questioned what was in Abe’s sandwich that left him so unhappy after reading his scathing restaurant review!
Weisberg said that she usually sends his son peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, but due to children’s allergies, she was unable to send him anything containing peanuts. As a result, she just cooked a butter and jelly sandwich and crossed her fingers, hoping that her kid would like it. Unfortunately for the small child, he was unable to enjoy his meal due to its peculiar flavor.
“I took a mouthful and it tasted… “I knew what butter tasted like, and it didn’t taste like butter,” Abe said. Weisberg said that she had left work early that day to see her son’s first day of school. She expected him to be cheerful and proud of himself, so she was taken aback when he made such a scathing comment about his meal instead of discussing school.
On the one hand, Weisberg acknowledged that the sandwich she created was very awful. “I was absolutely astounded when he stated it.” He had that expression on his face when you just can’t stop giggling. It was a very awful sandwich, and I deserved to be roasted. That’s how it goes now: I’m a lousy sandwich parent.” She claimed to have laughed along with the rest of the globe.
“I’m overjoyed at how much laughter this has given to the globe.” I also hope it relieves some of the pressure on mothers. It’s difficult to be a parent and you constantly want to present the greatest image, but I love that I can share my mom-fail with the world and perhaps help other mothers feel a bit better,” Weisberg said. Abe’s video went viral quickly, but according to Weisberg, it was filmed a few years ago and has always been an inside joke in her family.
She just shared it on TikTok after being pushed to do so by a friend. Abe, at nine years old, values his parents’ love and efforts even more. He also enjoys the fact that his video is becoming viral and thinks it’s hilarious. “He wants to be a YouTuber, so it’s a significant event for him,” Weisberg said. He’s ecstatic. It’s quite adorable.” Another advantage of the viral food review is that it strengthened the relationship between Weisberg and Abe.
“One of Abe’s finest qualities is that he has taught me to take myself less seriously.” That is, in my opinion, one of the nicest aspects of having a child. “You simply can’t take yourself seriously when someone is constantly calling you out on everything,” Weisberg said. “I really advise everyone to have that level of trust with their children so they can be brutally honest with you – it makes it more enjoyable.”
