Appearing on This Morning, Kayley spoke about the ordeal and said: “I wish there was (signs this would happen) because then I would have a reason to back up this decision but there wasn’t. No relationship is perfect, but I honestly did think we were each other’s person. “His dad then rang me…he said ‘I am sorry, he is safe, but he is four hours away’ and we had an hour to get married.

Now living alone without any explanation from Kallum, Kayley is still pleased that she went on with the party so her effort and money didn’t go to waste. Her loved ones didn’t leave her side and even set up a GoFundMe page to help her get the money she spent on the wedding day. “I saw the groom at around 4pm the day before the wedding and I haven’t heard from him since,” Kayley said.

“We’ve tried to reach out to him, but I’ve had no response from him, no reason why. I’ve had no explanation – not that I want one now, because it’s too far along the line.”Kayley said she did not want to remember the day anymore as it was just a complete sadness. Kallum has since tracked down and told The Sun: “I don’t want to talk about the article.” The two had been together for almost for years and got engaged when he popped the question in August 2020.
