Driving beyond 500 miles may seem to some to be an unpleasant experience. But for Laura Decker, the lengthy travel is worth it if it means she can embrace her grandfather, affectionately known as “Papa.” Laura recently decided to surprise her 84-year-old Papa at his baseball tournament, which was extra meaningful to him since it was being hosted in memory of her late Grandma.

Laura can be seen strolling into the baseball stadium with her tiny daughter while carefully approaching Papa, who was wearing his baseball jersey, in a video released on social media. Laura’s small kid couldn’t help but rush toward him, causing him to quickly embrace her and grin. Laura was the next person to get a hug… Papa’s tears begin to stream down his cheeks in the most endearing manner.
