The mere prospect of our children being missing, or worse, being abducted by someone, sends shivers down every parent’s spine. It’s in our nature to protect our children at all times and to worry for no reason that anything bad will happen to them. When kids go missing, we can only image the anxiety and terror that every parent feels without being able to do anything.

When their six-year-old son, Kaydon Leach, went missing one night, his parents felt helpless…Officials began searching for the youngster, and 100 people scoured the area all night long in search of him… The Blount County Bureau of Investigation issued an alert for a ‘endangered youngster,’ as rescuers scoured 2000 acres for the missing boy.

Kaydon was only six years old, and he was unable of defending himself in any life-threatening circumstance. The hunt for him included a large number of volunteers, a Black Hawk military helicopter, the Blount County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team, and K-9 teams.
