After 18 ss over a 16-year span, this lady eventually gives birth at the age of 48. When Mark and Louise first met in 1999, they immediately fell in love, and Louise felt deep down that Mark was the guy she wanted to have children with. Mark and Louise began trying to conceive when Louise was 32. However, since Mark had a vasectomy earlier in life, the couple had to attempt to conceive in unconventional methods.

Despite medical interventions, Louise had a difficult time becoming pregnant and delivering a healthy baby to term. Mark and Louise spent more than $100,000 on therapies over a 16-year span. They covered the costs of sperm donors as well as multiple IVF procedures. Louise got pregnant a total of 18 times throughout those 16 years, but she suffered the heartbreak of losing each of her infants to ss. The English lady never carried a pregnancy beyond a few weeks.

The couple and physicians couldn’t figure out why this was happening. Several years later, just before Louise turned 50, she saw a new doctor, who discovered that her body had what is widely known as s. These cells would target and kill any embryos she was carrying. Louise was able to get treatment for her ailment after receiving this diagnosis. Louise and her husband decided to try one more time for a safe pregnancy, and their efforts were rewarded.

William, their son, was born at 37 weeks. His parents were overjoyed since he was a healthy, happy baby. Strangers mistake Louise and Mark for the baby’s grandparents, but this doesn’t bother them. The couple is overjoyed to be raising their kid and finally having the family they had always desired.
