Audrey and Jack Newton inherited their family’s farmhouse when their parents died. It was a nine-bedroom Queen-Anne-style mansion on 115 acres of land. They farmed on this acreage, but they hardly touched the farmhouse from the inside. They let things go, which is why the auctioneers were taken aback when they visited the property for an inspection after the siblings died.

The music mirrored the old style of the property. Sheet music from the early 1900s and old Disney tunes may be found on the piano. Audrey, it turns out, had an ear for fine music and would host get-togethers for artists. Some of these instruments are said to have been used by great performers.

I’m not sure how successful that was! The siblings had not touched anything in the farmhouse. It had been abandoned for almost 70 years. With its unique items from a bygone age, the home is like a gigantic time machine that transports you to a simpler time.
