Teen Couple Gets Married After Knowing He Only Had 6 Months To Live, and after that….

This inspiring couple demonstrated that time is no match for their love for one another. Chase Smith and Sadie Mills were high school seniors who met after a swim meet at an ice cream social. “He was so sweet,” Sadie said. He’s very courteous. He’s a good Christian young man. We simply adored each other’s personalities. Now, he is everything to me.” Chase was diagnosed with Ewing’s sarcoma, a rare type of cancer, when he was 12 years old, and he later learned that his cancer had returned, causing tumors all over his body.

Chase’s doctors gave him a terminal diagnosis, telling him he only had three to five months to live. After six months of dating and Chase’s diagnosis, he and Sadie decided that marriage was God’s will for them. “I have the best two parents I could possibly have,” Chase said. It couldn’t have meant more to me for them to be completely behind me and my choices and decisions about who I love and who I wanted to marry when I wanted to marry.

” Within four days, a wedding in Sadie’s front yard was planned. Chase and his groomsmen wore matching suits, and she looked stunning in her wedding gown. “I’d always wanted an outdoor wedding,” Sadie explained, “and the fact that Chase came up with the idea of having the altar right where we went on our first date, where we had our first kiss, meant a lot to me.” Sadie and Chase had several months to celebrate their love.

“We, every day, pray for a miracle together because we trust in God,” Sadie said, “and we pray that Chase would stay on this earth longer so we could tell more people our story of love,” but Chase died after a six-year battle with Ewing’s sarcoma. In the video below, you can see Chase’s life story and how he and Sadie celebrated their love.
