This house was built more than 130 years ago and had been abandoned for many years before they purchased it. What they did with it is incredible! This is how it currently appears… This house, built in 1887, was considered dangerous to enter because it appeared to be on the verge of collapsing at any moment. People didn’t give this large ruin a second thought when they were looking to buy it, but everything changed when locals Jim and Jean Leaman stepped in.

The retired couple’s love for the crumbling abode’s classic architecture inspired them to purchase it after watching its condition deteriorate over the years. They transformed the ruin into a magical place we can all call home after 5 years of working on it day in and day out. The transformation is almost unbelievable! But wait until you see what’s inside…

This is how the house looked at first, but this is how it looked after restoration. The inside will take your breath away. The floors are made of five different types of wood, and a rainbow of colors pierce through thanks to the stained glass panels. Each of the five bedrooms on the second floor is uniquely decorated and has a special appeal.

However, this small room in the attic is perfect for an office! It’s difficult to believe from how it looked to what he made it out to be. It took a lot of work, time, and money, but he transformed the ruin into a cozy and warm house.
