‘It’s Been 10 Months But I Still REGRET The Name I Picked For My Baby, It Doesn’t Feel Right But Is It Too Late To Change It?’

A mother turned to the internet for help after she was unsure whether it was too late to change the name of her 10-month-old daughter. In a Netmums post, the woman explained that she and her husband gave their daughter a lovely name, but she is now unsure if they made the right choice. “What are people’s thoughts on changing a baby’s name after 10 months?” She penned a letter.

“Every day, I wonder if we named our daughter correctly – surely that isn’t normal?” the mother continued. “I’m in a panic and haven’t told anyone about it.” Not my husband or friends, because I feel so stupid for allowing this to continue for so long! “The name we chose is lovely, Sienna, but I have a feeling it’s not quite right.” Is anyone else experiencing these emotions? Is it too late for her to change her name?”

Many parents responded to the mother’s post, with many unsure whether it was too late to change their baby’s name. “I say go for it ONLY if you have another name you are certain of,” one person said. If you don’t, you’ll probably want to change it again, by which time it will be too late.” “You can change your baby’s name on the birth certificate until they are one year old,” said another.

According to the back of your birth certificate, you have 12 months to change your name.” “Talk to your husband and see how he feels,” a third person added. If you do not believe it is appropriate for her, change it now before it is too late.” What are your thoughts on the matter?
