Hunt rose to prominence in the 1990s with her breakthrough performance in the popular comedy series Mad About You, in which she costarred with Paul Reiser, who later starred in the Netflix series Stranger Things.She won three Golden Globes and four Emmys in a row for her portrayal of one half of a wedding couple. She also directed a few episodes, including the series finale in 1999.
