How frequently do you wash your pyjamas? Every time you put them on? Once a week? Perhaps once a month? Anything other than the first option appears to trigger rage. I must admit that it feels like a lot after every single sleep. To make that work, you’d need to have a large supply of pajamas or use your washing machine almost every day, and with prices still rising, there’s no reason to keep it on longer than necessary.
But, as TikToker Allison Delperdang learned when she asked her followers for their thoughts on adult pajama etiquette, that’s a divisive viewpoint. She stated that she is curious as to whether people wear pyjamas numerous nights in a row, exposing the button-up shirt they have been sleeping in. Allison confirmed that it’s common for kids to wear the same pajamas for days on end, but she also stated that she wore these three nights in a row.
So she’s asking if it’s still done as an adult or if she should be making filthy clothing every night? Several viewers were surprised to learn that Allison did not wash her pajamas after each use after watching Allison’s video. When Allison questioned if other people wore their pajamas for days on end, one person responded, “No, because I’m wearing them for 8+ hours, they just don’t feel clean.”
Another person stated, “Always fresh every night.” Furthermore, just use a towel once. “My kids are the same way.” “No! Sweating occurs during sleep. “Why would I wear that again?” asked a third person. However, there were other people who were fine with the idea of one’s pajama-wearing proclivities. “I wear them for like a week straight haha I hate doing laundry,” one video commentator stated.
“Wait. “Are there folks who don’t wear PJs on numerous nights in a row?” another bewildered guy remarked. Clearly, there is only one quick and easy solution to the pyjama debate: discard them totally and embrace bare sleeping. You can do whatever you want as long as you’re comfortable!
