After Nearly 140 Years Of Baby Boys, This Family Welcomes The First Baby Girl

The outstanding trend of nearly 140 years of baby boys was finally ended when the family welcomed a beautiful baby girl. Having a child is a priceless blessing. Every parent wishes for their children to arrive happy and healthy. However, prior to finding their baby’s gender, parents may secretly hope for a boy or vice versa.

One mother in Michigan urgently wanted a baby girl, but given her husband’s family history, the odds were stacked against her. According to People, Andrew Clark’s family has not produced a female since 1885. When Andrew first told his wife, Carolyn, about his family’s history, she believed it was a joke.”He was like, ‘Oh, we don’t, we don’t have any girls,'” she explained. “I’m like,

‘OK.'” I assumed he was simply playing with me.”Despite the fact that the odds are stacked against her, Carolyn declared that she would be the one to end Andrew’s family’s baby girl drought. They started trying and became pregnant. According to News Center Maine, Carolyn and Andrew are the proud parents of a beautiful newborn boy named Cameron. Andrew and Carolyn tried once more, but this time the pregnancy terminated in a miscarriage in January 2021, which Carolyn claimed was their second.

A little more than a year later, the couple learned they were expecting another child. And here is the baby who will undoubtedly break the 138-year-old streak. The couple used cookies and frosting to announce the birth of their baby girl. Carolyn told how she and her husband used cookies to reveal the baby’s gender to their relatives at a gender reveal party.

“We, you know, did a countdown,” Carolyn explained. “Three-two-one, and we all took a bite.”The pink frosting within the baked products was revealed by the bite. Carolyn and Andrew were expecting a girl. Audrey Marie Clark was born on March 17th. “It was just pure joy,” Carolyn explained. “You know, just the fact that she was here and healthy.” Carolyn subsequently stated, “I’ve got my girl.”
