David Foster, musician, is married to Katherine McPhee Foster, singer, actress and songwriter. David also holds other titles, as he is a musician, music director and record producer. When there were rumors that the two were dating, neither of them confirmed they were a couple. However, on November 30, 2017, Foster and McPhee were seen kissing in Los Angeles, confirming rumors the two were dating.
In July 2018, the couple got engaged while on vacation in Italy. They were then married on June 28, 2019 at Saint Yeghiche Church in South Kensington, London. The couple invited 150 guests, including family, friends and Foster’s five daughters. The record producer and McPhee have one child together, Rennie David, born on February 21, 2021. Recently, the actress and Foster joined the “David Foster & Friends Asia Tour 2023” together. However, McPhee announced that she would miss the last two performances of the tour as she had to return home because of a “terrible tragedy” that had befallen their family. She was last photographed with McPhee, Foster and their son in January 2023. Reports state that she died in a tragic car crash on August 9, 2023 at the university. Hamer Toyota in the San Fernando Valley, Utah, California. An 84-year-old woman was driving her Toyota RAV4 when it crashed into the dealership.’
The vehicle caused significant damage and collided with several people, including 23 and 25-year-old employees, who suffered minor injuries. The staff member has been hospitalized and is expected to make a full recovery. Calito was a customer at the dealership when the accident happened. The car hit the nanny and dragged her 20 feet before she could be pulled underneath. A nurse at the scene began CPR on Calito before the medical team arrived.
Calito was then taken to the hospital in critical condition but later died. No arrests were made and the driver of the vehicle was not injured. Reports say the driver pressed the gas instead of the brake, causing the vehicle to crash into the customer reception area and lead to Calito’s death. After announcing his departure from the tour in Jakarta, McPhee was quite tight-lipped. However, on August 11, 2023, she was seen at the Los Angeles airport without Foster.
