Signs Your Best Friend Is Actually Your Soulmate

When I met my partner and learned six months later that we were expecting a child, I knew my life would change. I understood that becoming a mother would entail some sacrifices; I knew that some of my friendships might change or, regrettably, end; and I knew that my time would be more valuable than ever before. I also realized that some things would remain constant, such as my friendship with my best friend.

I knew she would be my best friend and, as my best friend, my soulmate the instant I met her ten years ago. Don’t get me wrong: my relationship with my partner is very important to me. He’s the father of my child, my continuous support, my parenting partner, and the person I go to for pretty much everything. He is not, however, the best buddy I’ve had by my side through every conceivable up and down.

There’s something to be said about the interactions we have with other women as women. My best friend can give me things that my boyfriend simply cannot. There is a connection that is unique, possibly because we both understand what it is like to be a woman in the world and are always supportive of one another in ways that only women can. As a result, despite the fact that I am now a mother with an infinite list of obligations and a family to care for and provide for, my connection with my best friend has not changed.

It has, if anything, become stronger. She was there when I found out I was pregnant, and when my kid was born, and she will be there every day after that because she is more than simply a best friend. She is my true love. Perhaps you have a closest friend who shares your feelings of love, encouragement, and support. Perhaps this best friend is more than just a buddy, but a person to whom you are inextricably tied.

To be honest, there are clues that your best friend is your soulmate, and if you have a buddy who does the following things for you, count yourself lucky, because soulmates like those don’t come around very often. 1. They Inform You of What You Need To Know 2. They are the first person you contact when anything good, bad, or strange occurs. 3. You Know (And Keep) Their Secrets 4. You Do Not Seem to Compete With Them 5. When they are happy, you are happy.
