Once upon a time, a young couple from Hungary wished to live in a country house with their small daughter. They didn’t have much money, but they were able to find an inexpensive, ancient house. They began restoring the mansion themselves, determined to make their dream a reality.

They worked hard, step by step, to make the house better. They expanded the living space by adding a second floor and a summer patio. They were pleased of themselves for doing most of the work on their own.

To make the house original, they refurbished the ancient furniture and rebuilt a clay-brick oven. The couple intended to use the house as a weekend getaway, but they fell in love with it so deeply that they decided to stay. They accepted rural life, started a little farm, and are now content in their quaint house.
