While we’re not sure how the Neiman Marcus dip got its name – there’s mention of it being added to the flagship store’s restaurant menu in the 1950s – it turns out that it’s not really important, because this dip is so good that it stands on its own, regardless of what it’s called or where it came from.

With only five ingredients, along with whichever chips or crackers you choose to serve it with, this Neiman Marcus dip is packed with cheese, bacon, almonds, and green onions, and is made creamy with mayonnaise…It may not appear to be much, but this dip delivers a wonderful punch that is a surefire hit every time we prepare it!
