We’ve seen a lot of talent show videos, especially ones from shows like Got Talent. We’ve laughed, we’ve been amazed, and we’ll continue to do so in the future since it appears that Britain’s Got Talent produces a lot of talent. This week, it’s Connie Talbot, a charming 6-year-old girl who seems like she belongs on the playground rather than singing in front of a panel of judges. When Connie began to sing a cappella and with excellent tune, everyone went silent.

She had captured everyone’s attention from the minute the first note came out of her mouth, and they were all watching in awe. When you watch a little child on stage, you expect to see something cute, and occasionally that cuteness is mixed with tremendous talent. Connie is the epitome of this. Nobody could have predicted that this tiny girl would have such a wonderful and compelling voice. When the judges asked for her name, Simon’s countenance was perplexed; perhaps he didn’t anticipate much from Connie.

But when she began to sing, his countenance altered dramatically, and when she ended the song, Simon told Connie, “You are fantastic.” We all know Simon Cowell for his hardness when it comes to judging competitors, so when he says something nice to someone, it’s because he actually means it.
