This house looks lovely from the outside… but when people see what’s inside they simply refuse to buy it!

They say there can be no disagreements in issues of taste, and we couldn’t agree more, for the truth is that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and what is lovely to one person may be repulsive to another, and vice versa.

The same is true for a house in the United Kingdom that was posted for sale and drew a large number of buyers, but when they viewed the inside, the majority of them said “no, thank you,” and passed on the property.

The property has four bedrooms, a master suite, a garage, and a beautifully landscaped yard. The listing indicated that the facility upheld “high standards,” but it turned out that not everyone agreed on exactly what these phrases meant. Believe it or not, the whole interior of this seemingly perfect-looking home is purple, including the walls, carpets, and furniture. To be more specific, everything.

Everyone agrees that no matter how much they adore this color, it is simply too much. So, what else comes in purple? You name it: the flooring, the ceilings, the curtains. The purple color extends all the way to the master suite closet doors, and while the walls are easy to paint over, fixtures like closet doors may be a nightmare to repair.

The bathroom tiles are white with purple floral accents on top. And, while the bathtub is white, the bathroom floor and sides are covered in shaggy purple carpeting.

Based on the façade, one would never guess that everything inside this property is purple, and selling it would be difficult unless the prospective buyer is also a strong fan of this color. The mansion is on the market for $5 million. What are your thoughts on this? Would you be able to live in such a purple environment?
