Mothers’ intuition is always correct. That was the case, at least, for Lilly Munro, who, even though she was in her 24th week of pregnancy, couldn’t get rid of the feeling that something wasn’t right with Lennox, her unborn child.
Lilly Munro, a native of Melbourne, Australia, visited the hospital with her fiancé, Brodie Moles. She soon discovered that there was a big problem when they first walked through the doors. They had to get moving quickly.

Doctors told Lilly Munro and her fiancé Brodie Moles that their unborn kid, Lennox, had a heart problem and that they needed to induce labor right away because they were worried something wasn’t right with her pregnancy. Her son had only twenty-four weeks to live, and his odds of survival were roughly 50/50. He was a little 1.8 pounds in weight!
As part of Baby Lennox’s rehabilitation, his chances of survival were enhanced by being placed in a plastic bag. It would stop the body temperature from becoming dangerously low. The sight of him finally being hooked up to tubes and hoses disturbed the new parents.

Lennox was admitted to the hospital for 111 days in total! Lilly’s other three children were taken care of by Brodie after she had to give up her career to stay at the hospital with Lennox. All of it was beneficial in the end. Every moment spent with their newborn boy was treasured by both parents. Lennox was able to return home with the help of numerous amazing medical professionals and nurses who went “above and beyond,” as Lilly put it.

He has put on about nine pounds and is doing great. The entire family is overjoyed! At this point, Lilly, Brodie, and their “miracle baby,” Lennox, must be going through a lot. In spite of this, he’s come a long way since his early birth.
