Olivia Newton-only John’s daughter, Chloe Lattanzi, comes up about her mother’s final days on Earth before dying death in August 2022. In a new interview with Koda Kotb, Lattanzi discussed her mother’s final comments and how Newton-John kept her wits about her until she couldn’t speak.”She could only say to me, ‘My sunshine,'” Lattanzi said in an interview with Today. “And she was making jokes shortly before she lost her capacity to talk.”
After a long fight with breast cancer, the legendary actress and original Grease star died. At the time, she was 73 years old. “I adore my mom more than anything,” she sobbed. “You know, she’s my mother.” She’s not Olivia Newton-John to me, but I’m thankful she was for so many others.” Nonetheless, Lattanzi claims that her mother’s vast fan network has helped her get through some of her darkest moments since her mother’s death six months ago.
“In fact, it was a life raft.” It’s been like receiving a big hug from the universe. And I’m grateful to everyone who reached out to us and shared their hearts and connections.”The interview with Lattanzi is released on the same day as Newton’s John’s of Jolene is made public. Dolly Parton’s Newton-duet John’s was one of the last songs she recorded before her death. Olivia’s husband, John Easterling, was present for the interview and stated that he still speaks aloud to his late wife.

Easterling regards Olivia as his true soulmate. Newton-John’s family and closest friends, including her beloved co-stars, have expressed how much she will be missed after her death.
