It’s easy to forget that, for all of their wealth and fame, celebrities are just like the rest of us. As a result, they experience the same joys and sufferings, heartbreaks, shocks, and difficult periods in life. Perhaps we should keep this in mind the next time we see sensationalized headlines or rumors that appear without evidence. Celebrities, like everyone else, experience difficult times.
Do not believe us? You only need to look at Ed Sheeran, whose wife was cruelly diagnosed with cancer last year while pregnant with their second kid. Ed Sheeran is well-known around the world as one of the most successful music musicians of his generation, but he’s also had his fair share of worries in recent years. According to rumors, he and his wife Cherry Seaborn married in 2019, after meeting in 2015.

However, their lives were turned upside down last year when Cherry was diagnosed with cancer while pregnant. Sheeran’s grief was exacerbated by the death of his best friend that same month. In his Disney+ docu-series Ed Sheeran: The Sum of It All, Sheeran stated, “Cherry’s health was pretty awful, and then suddenly my best friend Jamal died. “You asked, ‘Do you want to produce a documentary?’ And I said, ‘Yeah, it should be me in the studio, and we’ll do the gig.’
“That’s not what the documentary is.” The video then switches to Sheeran in tears as he travels in the back of a car. Cherry, Sheeran’s wife, stated in the documentary that physicians discovered a growth in her arm during her sixth month of pregnancy. “I got diagnosed with cancer at the start of the year….,” she went on to say. “It caused me to contemplate deeply about our mortality.

I would never agree to do something like this, but it made me wonder, ‘Oh, what if I died? How would people perceive me? “What are you leaving behind?” She went on to remark, “For Ed, the whole point is to tell people, ‘I’m not just this music machine.'” I’m not simply a robot trying to get to No. 1. I’m a parent, a son, and a friend. It wasn’t until this year that I realized, ‘I might die.'”
Cherry and her husband successfully delivered their second kid after months of stress. She had successful surgery to remove the tumor in her arm shortly after. We can’t image how worried Ed Sheeran must have been after learning his wife had a tumor while pregnant. Thank God, everything turned out okay.
