Daniel Converse, the two-year-old son of Modesto-based guitarist Steven Converse, astounded his parents when he spontaneously began singing Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love.”Steven, a proud parent, recalls the occasion with joy: “To hear him, just like, memorize the words and sing it by himself was… kind of a special moment for us.”

Daniel has been involved in music since an early age, frequently accompanying his father to sessions. When he took to the stage, his innate aptitude for music was on full display. Despite not getting all of the words correct, Daniel’s sense of melody and timing was impressive.

Steven did not waste this opportunity; he promptly invited Daniel into the studio, providing headphones and accompaniment on his guitar as his son sang.
