Not long ago, Kevin Costner and Christine Baumgartner’s marriage appeared to be as robust as any other. After a bitter breakup that included a lengthy court case and a lot of negative news, the pair has now officially moved on. We recently reported last month on the possibility that Costner, who portrayed Yellowstone, had found love again. His ex-wife is likely to be involved in any new relationships.
According to reports, Costner was taken off guard when Christine Baumgartner decided to begin the divorce procedure in May of last year (2023). Unfortunately, things only got worse from there in this terrible scenario. Christine requested a divorce due to “irreconcilable differences” in early May. They had been married for eighteen years.
Someone working for Costner issued a statement saying, “It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond his control have occurred, resulting in Mr. Costner having to participate in a dissolution of marriage action.” “We ask that his, Christine’s and their children’s privacy be respected as they navigate this difficult time.”
Following Baumgartner’s filing, she and Costner got into a heated argument. A prenuptial agreement required Baumgartner to leave the family home, and Costner to pay $63,209 per month in child support for the couple’s three children together. Kevin and Christine are probably relieved that 2023 is over. Still, it wasn’t all terrible news in terms of love—at least if you believe the stories on some news websites.
TMZ reports that Costner began dating US singer Jewel at the end of last year. One person stated, “There was clearly something going on. They were flirtatious, and when they were together, they both seemed to light up.” “You could tell they were trying to be discreet, but anybody who saw them could tell something was going on,” someone else stated.
As it should be, Costner’s ex-wife is now the target of similar rumors. According to the Daily Mail, there are clear hints that she may have a new boyfriend. Baumgartner was spotted dating famed businessman Josh Connor again a few months after splitting from Kevin. They reside together in Santa Barbara. The Daily Mail released a number of images, one of which showed Baumgartner, a 49-year-old fashion designer, dropping Connor off at his home.
This is an interesting fact: Baumgartner and Connor were once related. Baumgartner had to answer a question in court regarding their relationship after being seen together in Hawaii on vacation last July while going through her divorce. Baumgartner replied, “No,” when asked where her boyfriend Connor was. When they returned from their trip, the 49-year-old explained that Connor had slept in a different room.
The Mail reports, however, that Baumgartner and Connor returned to Hawaii in December. Baumgartner’s lawyer also acknowledged that Josh had given her a $20,000 loan last summer, when she was having a difficult time because she was getting divorced from Costne.
