Amy was looking forward to spending Saturday with her husband of six years, Mark, but as he kissed her on the forehead, he told her he had a lot of work and needed to be at the office. He even informed her that if he was able to take his work home, he would do so and bring some Indian food. Mark and Amy knew each other long before they married because they worked in the same building.

Mark was a Casanova who dated a variety of women, but when he decided to settle down, he chose Amy.Despite her desire to spend the day with him, Amy saw this as an opportunity to take some time for herself and enjoy a good book and cup of tea. But just as she started reading, she received a message. She initially planned to disregard it, but since it was from Tom, her husband’s best friend who felt like family, she was curious to view it.
It was actually a voicemail. Tom was heard stating, “Hello, I’m running a little late for our double date.” I’ll be there around 2 p.m., okay? “It is Coachella, right? This left Amy perplexed. She couldn’t recall Mark saying anything about a double date. She thought Tom became confused and dismissed the message, but something told her there might be more to it, so he decided to investigate.
Coachella turned out to be an outdoor restaurant that aimed to maintain the festival vibe with loud music and low-hanging decor, making it simple for Amy to blend in. When she arrived, she requested a private table with a clear view of the entryway. She felt anxious while waiting. She hoped Mark would not turn up, or if he did, he would be there alone. But that is not what happened.
Minutes passed until Mark entered the room, escorted by a stunning woman dressed in fine clothing from head to toe.Amy’s heart fell as Mark approached a table with Tom and his wife Sasha already seated. When they met Mark, they hugged him, and the four appeared to have a good time together. They were smiling and having a great time as if they had forgotten Amy existed in their lives.
Regardless of how sad she felt at the time, Amy understood it was time to act rather than cry. She summoned the waiter and instructed him to deliver the finest champagne to Mark’s table. The waiter, sensing the drama, responded with a nod and a tiny smile. When he took the champagne to Mark, he began giggling, not realizing his wife was watching him.At that point, Amy took a photo of him with the other woman and shared it on Facebook, tagging Mark.
When he read the notice, the color left his face as he hurriedly searched the room for his wife. Amy then phoned the waiter again, ordered more champagne, and scrawled a message on a piece of paper that said, “To a memorable double date and our divorce, cheers!”. She then left the restaurant and headed home.
Mark returned home a few hours later and packed his belongings. He claimed he didn’t mean to cheat on Amy; he was just having fun. But she did not want to hear his falsehoods.Mark went to Tom’s apartment, and Amy hadn’t heard from him in a week. She realized then that it was time to file for divorce. What would you do if you were in her position?
