When my husband, Jack, and I were expecting our child, we had no idea what kind of surprise awaiting us. One day, I suddenly became ill, and my entire body began to ache. An ambulance was dispatched immediately, and a “three-in-one” bag including all relevant paperwork was already prepared.

They led me to the delivery room while Nikolai remained outside. Within a few hours, I gave birth to two baby daughters, which was a complete surprise! During the inspection, they informed us that there was only one baby but a massive tummy due to the enormous and polyhydramnios pregnancy.

Jack was surprised and unprepared for this. I called my mother-in-law, Jane, and explained everything. She congratulated me on the birth of my children, saying it was a double bliss. At that point, my doctor entered the room and overheard some of the talk.

Based on what he heard, he tried to persuade me to take both children rather than leave one in the hospital. In the end, we took both kids home, and he apologized for his first outburst.

Our daughters are now 16 years old and each other’s best friends. They help me with domestic duties, Nikolai never ceases praising me for our daughters, and I am proud of them.
