A dog is the most devoted and affectionate companion in the world. Just ask Byron, who is 25 years old and would not be alive today without his dog Geo. He decided he didn’t want to live any longer and prepared to commit suicide. Someone in the home, however, would not stand by and see his best friend say farewell. This was the hardest time for Byron Taylor, then 25 years old. He did not see a way out.
He created a noose one day while he was quite inebriated. According to the Daily Mail, he then walked downstairs to write a letter to his family saying farewell. He returned upstairs, however, and discovered that Geo, his dog, had something in his jaws. Geo, a six-year-old Welsh bullmastiff, took the noose when Byron was downstairs. Geo refused to give up the rope when Byron tried to retrieve it.
Boyd initially assumed Geo only wanted to play. He quickly realized, however, that the dog was serious. Geo clenched his teeth as if he were about to bite Byron if he tried to pull the rope out of his mouth. He appeared to know what Byron was about to do. When Geo eventually let go of the rope, it was in a tangled mess. Today, Byron claims that Geo is the reason he is still alive.
“I believe Geo knew what I was going to do. They have a sixth feel for this type of thing. “He knew something was up,” Byron adds. Geo reacted swiftly enough to disrupt Byron’s plans and make him feel better. Byron continued to work hard to overcome his grief, but he was dealt another blow a few years later. Geo was given only a few days to live since he had a hazardous tumor.
The internet was full of amusing things that Byron performed to collect funds for Geo’s medical care, but the vets were unable to rescue the dog. Byron resolved to do everything he could to ensure Geo had the finest possible final days. Even though his dearest buddy is no longer with him, he will always be grateful to him for bestowing the most precious gift: life.
