Did he tell her about the terrible things he had done in the past? Not at all! Corporal Caleb Earwood wanted to say a prayer with his future wife before they married. The prayer was dedicated to their upcoming nuptials. And, according to tradition, the groom should not see the bride before the wedding, so the two only held hands. They prayed together.
