When people reach the age where they are unable to care for themselves, their families frequently decide to place them in nursing homes. Unfortunately, if they get sick or terminally ill, they may end up in a hospice, where they are expected to receive great care in their final months or days of life. The truth is that few people have positive things to say about hospice. We frequently hear about elderly folks being neglected and mistreated at these facilities. However, we should not make generalizations based on individual cases, as seen in the video below.
A dying voice teacher had one final desire. She asked the nurse, who happened to be her old student, to sing for her one final time. She adores his lovely voice, as do we. We are grateful that people as sympathetic and kind as this nurse still exist. They certainly revive our confidence in humanity. “What a lovely voice!” She must have been an excellent teacher! “God bless!” One person commented.
“This man is a blessing.” A beautiful example of using God’s gift to soothe those around him. “Selfless and beautiful!” Another person added. This will undoubtedly help to influence people’s perspectives on hospice care. Be sure to view the video below. It’s quite touching! Unfortunately, Maria is no longer with us, which makes this entire video even more touching. Make sure you share this beautiful clip with all your friends on Facebook to celebrate all the personnel who work diligently to take care of our elderly loved ones.
