Dear ladies, as guys, we have a strong attraction to women who are shorter than us. That is because: 1. It makes guys appear taller. Even a man of ordinary height will appear significantly taller next to a short girl. It’s fantastic for taking photos, entering a room, or simply standing around. Call it insecurity or toxic masculinity, but we enjoy being tall, and there’s no better way to do so than to surround ourselves with short people. That or truly be tall.

2. You are simpler to cuddle. Instead of wrapping you up in our arms, we can wrap you in one and leave the other free to eat chicken nuggets. Everyone wins here. 3. We can pick you up and take you to bed. Did you fall asleep in our arms as we watched Netflix together? Not an issue. We can simply take you up and carry you to bed without fear of banging your head against a doorway or whatever. It also means we can get you out of a nightclub if you’re too intoxicated or there’s a fire.

4. It makes us feel useful. We don’t even need to be that tall. Getting dishes out of a high cabinet or reaching for objects when shopping makes us feel important. In terms of this relationship, this may be all we have to offer.\

5. We have extra space in the bed. We can place our feet on your side of the bed, and you won’t notice. It’s as if we got three-quarters of a bed rather than half. 6. Everything she does is cute. Of course, we couldn’t say that out loud because you would punch us, but it’s true.

7. It allows for great embraces. You hold us around the waist, and the top of your head barely clears our neck. We don’t have to worry about you hitting us in the lip or something. 8. We always have someone who can fit into small spaces. Whether it’s reaching behind the sofa for the remote or crawling down a collapsed mineshaft to obtain help after we’ve been trapped, having someone little is always beneficial.

9. It makes it easy to conceal gifts. Is her birthday approaching, but she received her gift early? Top shelf in the closet. We can rest assured that she will never find it, even if she snoops.
