My daughter always came home from school upset, and her reasons led me to divorce my spouse.

When Dani and Nathan met in high school, they both thought they were meant to be. After a few years, they married and looked forward to a happy future together. Nathan, however, transformed after only two years of marriage. Dani had no idea if the development was related to the couple’s recent arrival of a newborn daughter. At the end of the day, Nathan was a wonderful father, therefore that was probably not why he reprimanded Dani so harshly.

He began to dislike her appearance and advised her to worry more about how she looked. “You’ve just let yourself go, Dani,” remarked the man. “Always dressed in those ugly clothing. Do you think you’ll keep the spark going like that?” He also accused her of not being a good mother, despite the fact that she worked from home and spent a lot of time with young Ellie.

“You are always behind that computer screen. Do you give Ellie enough attention? It doesn’t seem like it. “She’s always alone when I get home from work.” Dani attempted her best to make him happy, but she soon gave up because Nathan was never content with anything she did. Dani decided to end their marriage because she lacked the strength to battle something that only existed in her husband’s mind.

Nathan informed Dani one day that he had been offered a job and that they would have to relocate. Dani was fine with Ellie’s decision to relocate because she was in first grade and worked remotely. Maybe the adjustment would improve their marriage, she secretly hoped.Ellie enrolled in a new school, but as time passed, Dani noticed her daughter returning home depressed. One day, she discovered her crying in her room.

“Honey, what happened?” Dani inquired, apprehensive. “I do not want Miss Allen to be my mother! “I want you to be my mother.” Ellie sobbed. Dani felt a chill run through her. Miss Allen was Ellie’s instructor. “Why would she become your mother?” she inquired. With tears streaming down her cheeks, Ellie began telling her mother about what she had heard the previous days, and as the words flowed from her mouth, she felt the weight on her shoulders lift.

“When Dad picked me up from school yesterday, Miss Allen asked me to wait by the door while she spoke with him. I didn’t hear everything, but she promised to be a better mother to me. Dad laughed as she stated that.” Nathan was having an affair. Dani poured Nathan a drink that evening after ensuring Ellie was well asleep. “So,” she started. “Miss Allen seems really good with Ellie.”

“Really?” he inquired, his eyes lighting up. “I knew Ellie liked her…” “Enough for Miss Allen to be her new mom?” Dani asked. “What’s going on, and don’t you dare lie to me.” Nathan gazed at the floor, embarrassed to raise his head. But he admitted that he was seeing his daughter’s teacher. They began the affair soon after they met. But it was not all.

Back where they used to reside, he was having an affair with another lady who suddenly began wanting more from him than just being his mistress, which prompted him to change jobs and relocate. At that point, Dani realized her marriage was over. In the days that followed, she moved Ellie to a different school because she needed to be safeguarded and loved, not caught up in her father’s adulterous activities.

Dani filed for divorce and relocated to a new home. Nathan is able to visit his daughter whenever he wants. Do you believe Dani did the right thing?
