General Hospital has lost one of its most talented actors. Johnny Wactor, 37, well known as Brando Corbin on the famous soap ‘General Hospital,’ died in a sad incident this weekend.

According to sources, the actor was shot and died in downtown Los Angeles on Saturday morning during a suspected theft. Johnny Wactor, best known for his role as Brando Corbin in General Hospital, has died. He was 37 years old. The story soon circulated after TMZ broke it after speaking with his mother, Scarlett. She claimed that her son and some of his friends had witnessed a bunch of men ‘ messing’ with his automobile.

When they approached the vehicle to see what was going on, a group of unidentified guys shot him. His mother claims that her son did not attempt to fight or stop the alleged carjackers, but they nonetheless shot him. The Los Angeles Police Department provided a similar version of events to the local media. They reported that a male (whom they did not identify) was shot around 3 a.m. near Pico Boulevard and Hope Street. While being transferred to a local hospital, he was declared dead.

General Hospital producers issued a statement discussing the actor’s passing and how painful it was for everyone involved on the show. “The General Hospital family is heartbroken to learn about Johnny Wactor’s tragic death. He was unique and a delight to work with daily. “Our thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones during this difficult time,” the show’s bosses said.

David Shaul, Wactor’s talent agency, also expressed his sadness over the unexpected and tragic loss in a statement to Variety. “Johnny Wactor was an amazing human being. Not only was he a skilled actor who was dedicated to his trade, but he also set a good example for everyone he knew. Standing for dedication, tenacity, and a never-give-up mentality. “In the highs and lows of a difficult profession, he always kept his head up and strived to be the best he could be,” Shaul added.

He went on to say, “Our time with Johnny was a privilege we would wish on everyone.” He would practically hand you the shirt off his back. After more than a decade together, he will leave an indelible mark on our hearts. Aside from almost 160 episodes of General Hospital, the actor has participated in several significant television productions, including ABC’s Station 19, HBO’s Westworld, Netflix’s The OA, and CBS originals Criminal Minds and NCIS. His debut part was in Lifetime’s Army Wives.

He played Airman Byers in three episodes. Sofia Mattsson, who plays Sasha Corbin, Wactor’s on-screen wife on General Hospital, shared a heartfelt homage to her late friend.
