I kicked my nasty MIL out of the house, and I don’t care if she has no money and may end up homeless.

A woman, 37, revealed her incredible family tale with us, and we couldn’t help but feel for her. Our heroine had a difficult connection with her mother-in-law, yet she consented to shelter a completely broken MIL in her home. However, the ungrateful mother-in-law wreaked havoc on her DIL’s life, forcing her to make some difficult decisions. The distraught woman told her story and asked our readers for their thoughts.Caroline, 37, is now divided by her own decision towards her mother-in-law, and she is asking our readers to weigh in on whether her actions were justified.

Caroline began her message by stating, “Hi, lovely Bright Side! I’ve been following your page for many years, and it’s always been good to see how the other followers of your page never hesitate to offer genuinely important advise to individuals who share their complicated life stories and family dilemmas via your editorial. I suppose it is now my turn to seek help from others, as I am completely desperate and bewildered as a result of my moral issue. “Here is my story.”

Caroline continues her story, saying, “I live with my three children, my husband, and my mother-in-law, 65. My MIL moved in with us 7 years ago, after my father-in-law died of cancer. She was struggling financially at the time. My mother-in-law is difficult to live with, and we have struggled greatly from the start, only finding a method to cohabit after a few years.

Caroline stated, “My parents (68 years old) were recently (5 months ago) involved in an unfortunate occurrence. Their house burned down, so they moved in with us while the insurance and other procedures were worked out. My kids now share a bedroom, and my parents are temporarily residing in my eldest son’s room. My mother-in-law has been suffering from this, and she appears to despise the mere presence of my mother. My mother has done nothing to bother or disturb her. My parents’ bedroom is located on the opposite side of the home.

MIL, on the other hand, has no issues with my father and constantly finds a way to communicate with him and spend time with him.”Caroline continues her narrative, saying, “A few days ago, while I was away from home, my mother and my mother-in-law got into a huge quarrel. My mother had accused my MIL of attempting to seduce my father. My mother-in-law had sent some inappropriate and suggestive emails to my father, which prompted her to do this. My father quickly showed them all to my mother, who responded as if she were my father to see how far MIL would go, and she went way too far.”

“When my mother confronted her, MIL stunned everyone with her reply. She simply stood up and called the cops on my parents. She claimed she felt threatened, and the police escorted my parents out of the house. This all occurred while my spouse was still at work and the children were at school. My parents went to a hotel, and they told me what happened later over the phone.” The anxious woman continues her story, adding, “When I arrived home from work, I gave my mother-in-law two days to move out.

My husband keeps telling me that I’m escalating the situation and that I should forgive his mother’s acts since she was ‘lonely and confused.’ But I know she’s in terrific health. I’m aware that she’s still struggling financially and has nowhere to live, but I can’t forgive her for this terrible accident involving my parents.”My husband did not see the texts and images that his mother sent to my father. The only reason he hasn’t seen them is because he refused to, but I believe I’ll have to insist because I need him to understand how evil this woman has been.

My husband has also profusely apologized to my parents, but they are not furious with us, and they only blame my mother-in-law, as it was her vile behavior that caused this. I need advise on whether I’m overreacting or whether I’m doing things correctly.
